Carl Penny Operations Director

Carl has over 20 years experience in the pre hospital care field as a paramedic, the majority of which was with the NHS Emergency Ambulance Service.  Over these years, Carl has great experience in the private patients and event medical arena being qualified as a flight medic in both fix wing and helicopter operations and experience of major incident management.

Carl still maintains his registration as a front line paramedic regularly working on accident and emergency vehicles and rapid response cars.

Carl now brings this wealth of knowledge to the table to ensure that Lifecare Medics maintains a professional approach to every aspect of the company.  From ensuring that the training structure is in place to controlling gold command on major events.  Carl has an acute eye for detail.

Through his training in leadership and management by Thales International, and his vast experience in both as staff office and command position in the Sea Cadet Core,  Carl is moulding a forward thinking management team, structuring the company so that it is fit for purpose.

Carls passion for the water stears his hobbies in a marine fashion.  A qualified yacht master RYA with instructor qualifications in power boating and dingy sailing and a keen interest in scuba diving.  This also bring a water rescue and maritime edge to his medical training.
